Sainsbury Archive website
Designing an extensive online archive to coincide with the 150th anniversary of the first Sainsbury’s store and celebrate the supermarket’s rich history.

Overview
To mark the 150th anniversary of the first Sainsbury’s store, an extensive online archive was created to celebrate the supermarket’s rich history. The website showcases thousands of historical items including vintage advertisements, packaging, and products. Visitors can also explore an interactive timeline, read personal stories, and learn about the Sainsbury family’s legacy in shaping one of Britain’s most loved supermarkets.
My role
While at Keepthinking, I played a key role in shaping the project’s information architecture and overall visual direction. I was responsible for the end-to-end design of key pages of the site, including the Home, Stories and People sections. I delivered detailed wireframes and hi-fidelity design assets, ensuring a cohesive and engaging experience across the website on both desktop and mobile.
